The story of Hanmade’s began with love. A love and enthusiasm for desserts that inspired Hannah to bring her admiration for baking to life. From flavour to design, all of our food, cakes and desserts are products of passion and years of Hannah’s hard work perfecting recipes and self taught techniques.
Hanmade’s takes pride in sharing Filipino flavours with the community. As a Filipina who moved to Sydney in 2006, Hannah has many fond memories of her childhood in the Philippines and was heavily inspired to incorporate her culture in her creations. Where every bite feels like one step closer to home.

Timeline
In 2018, Hannah founded Hanmade's Desserts, a home business that began in the kitchen of her family home, which put her through a journey of many trials, errors and great successes.
In 2020, Hannah knew it was time to take a step towards her ultimate dream - her own bakehouse. She rebranded the business and opened her first brick and mortar store here in Eastern Creek Quarter.
Now in 2022, dreams have turned into a reality - the official bakehouse. Hanmade’s Bakehouse has now expanded into a larger space, allowing us to expand our menu and create even more delicious food and desserts with an improved experience of dining in a space that feels like home.
This store is a testament of hard work, determination and perseverance that began from a young girl's admiration and love for baking. We’re proud of this business where we can share the beauty of our culture. Our goal is to give you more than just food - but a Hanmade experience for you that provides comfort and value.
