How to order?

Choose the desired products for your order. When ready to proceed, click the bag icon located at the top right of the page. Access your 'View Cart' by clicking there. Beneath the Total Amount, choose a time slot to set the date and time for pick-up. Once the date and time are selected, click 'Check Out' and proceed to the payment stage.

 

When is the ideal time to place an order?

 You have the flexibility to place orders with a minimum lead time of 2 days, and you can even secure your order up to one month in advance.

I need a cake urgently for tomorrow, can I still order?
For urgent next day orders, we will strive to accommodate your needs. Please reach out to us in-store at 0450953178 to place an order. 

Where to pick up?

Presently, all orders are only for pickup. Kindly visit our establishment at Eastern Creek Quarter. You'll find us situated inside the shopping centre near Woolworths, conveniently across from Fruit World.

 

Do you do delivery?

At the moment, we do not provide delivery services. However, we are actively working towards making this feature available in the near future.

 

I'm interested in a custom or bespoke cake. How much advance notice do I need to provide?

For custom cakes, we recommend placing your order at least one week in advance to secure a spot, as our schedule can fill up quickly. However, if you have an urgent request, please feel free to reach out to us at hello@hanmadesbakehouse.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

 

Do you cater for events and corporate parties?

Do you have cakes available in-store?

Yes, we do! We offer a delightful selection of cakes daily. We recommend pre-ordering to secure your preferred flavor and size. For current stock availability, please reach out to us at 0450953178.

 

Do our cakes require refrigeration to maintain their quality? 

Yes, indeed! Most of cakes are cream and buttercream based cakes and are susceptible to heat. Sans Rival cakes are best stored in the freezer.

 

Are you aware that cakes are delicate? 

Without proper care, they can be damaged during transport. If you're alone, securely place the cake on the floor of the passenger side or in the trunk with a grip mat.  Always drive carefully. For taller (4 layered) or 2-tier custom cakes, it is ideal to have a companion for support during transport.

 

How long can cakes be transported?

The cakes can endure at least 1 hour to 1.5 hours at room temperature but ensure it is not exposed to heat and sunlight. If the cake will be served more than 3 hours later, it is advised to bring the cake directly to the destination and store it in the fridge. 

 

If the cake is to be served within 1 hour or immediately, is refrigeration not necessary? 

For buttercream cakes, there is no need to refrigerate the cake if it will be consumed directly.

Cream cakes need to be refrigerated immediately to maintain its quality.

 

When is the best time to serve the cake for the optimum taste experience? 

The cake is best enjoyed when the buttercream is at room temperature, which takes about 1-2 hours. 

 

Do you need to be mindful of room temperature? 

Yes, especially in hot weather, as the cake will soften much faster than in cold weather.

 

Can our cakes be collected the day before? 

Absolutely! Our freshly made cakes can be enjoyed 2-4 days after pickup. 

 

What's the key to maintaining their quality?

 Ensure the cake is always kept in refrigeration.

 

How do you store Silvanas and Sansrival cakes to maintain their freshness?

They are stored in the freezer. They can last up to 3 weeks to 1 month if stored in the freezer.

 

Do most of our products contain gluten, eggs, dairy, and nuts?

 Yes, they do. Please be aware that the majority of our products contain gluten, eggs, dairy, and nuts.

What should you be aware of regarding nut allergies? 

Please be aware that all our products may contain traces of nuts. Our signature silvanas and Sans Rival cakes are made with cashews. 

Can you make gluten free cakes?
Yes, our Cashew and Chocolate Hazelnut Sansrival are gluten free.

Can you create eggless cakes?

Absolutely, we can make an eggless Chocolate cake. However, it's important to note that if it is a serious dietary concern, we may be unable to accept the order due to safety reasons.
